Welcome to the  Rotary Club of Sunbury Website

A Rotary Club is made up of professional and business people who band together to serve their community. Rotary is an international organisation, formed by a series of clubs established in local communities, with a charter to serve those communities, and to extend that service to the world.

Within the Sunbury community we serve by promoting the development of the young, and the future leaders of our community. We do this through programs within the schools of Sunbury by encouraging and rewarding achievement. We also support young people to attend Rotary Youth Leadership Assemblies, and science education forums. The Club also promotes the exchange of students between countries. One particular program is "Bangers on Brook", this provides our young people with a refuge for some free water, and something to eat, late on Saturday evening around the hotels and night clubs. This program has won the appreciation of our younger community, and has helped provide a safer environment for them.

The Sunbury Rotary Club also works with the Sunbury Community Health Centre to provide assistance to families within the community who have a need for short term emergency help. The Club has also drawn together various assistance groups within Sunbury to promote awareness of the services available to help people in personal crisis, and to promote the awareness of mental health in the community. This is only a small part of the work of the Rotary Club of Sunbury, and further information is contained in this website. The Club provides a platform for individual members to combine their knowledge and skill to form a powerful force to benefit the community of Sunbury, and other communities in the world.
